The National Army Museum has been exhibiting beautiful artworks from their collection painted for the British by Indian artists. The Exhibition entitled ‘Indian Armies, Indian Art: Soldiers, collectors and artists 1780 to 1880′ has been running since May and is free to experience at the National Army Museum on Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, London, SW3 4HT until the end of the year.

We strongly recommend you consider organising a trip for your Sikh soc to what is a delightful part of the capital city to take in some quite breath-taking imagery from Punjabi history. For more information about the exhibition, visit http://www.nam.ac.uk/exhibitions/indianArt/
